About
I’m Tom — a Belgian freelance product designer with over 10 years of experience, now based in Slovenia. I’m passionate about details, simplicity, and making an impact.
I most recently worked as Design Lead at Fidel API, a Fintech SaaS startup specializing in instant payment data via card-linking. During my tenure, I played a key role in scaling the company from its bootstrap phase to securing $65 million in Series B funding. I also contributed to onboarding major clients, including Royal Bank of Canada, Avios (British Airways), and Google.
Previously, at Badoo — one of the world's largest dating apps. I was one of the first three product design hires. I led design for over 150 million users.
Currently, I'm building Habitastic. A delightful habit tracker in the form of a pocket-sized book. As of August 2024, the app is in TestFlight for private beta testing.
